Program Overview

The D-Lates Academy of Movement™ offers a structured and progressive pathway designed to develop confident, knowledgeable, and well-rounded Pilates instructors.

Our certification pathway is divided into two levels, allowing students to build a strong foundation first, and then expand into a full comprehensive education across all Pilates apparatus

Level 1: Certified Mat & Reformer Pilates Instructor

This foundational level focuses on:

  • Anatomy and movement principles
  • The full Mat repertoire
  • Essential and intermediate Reformer exercises
  • Teaching methodology, cueing, and class structure
  • Modifications, safety, and client-centered programming

Upon completion, students are qualified to teach Mat and Reformer Pilates in both private and group settings.

Level 2: Comprehensive Certified Pilates Instructor

This advanced level expands your education to include the full Pilates system:

  • Anatomy
  • Mat
  • Reformer
  • Stability Chair
  • Cadillac / Tower
  • Ladder Barrel
  • Spine Corrector

This level is designed for instructors who want to develop a deeper understanding of movement, advanced programming skills, and the ability to work with a wide range of clients, from general fitness to more specialized populations.
