Course Overview
The Pilates Chair challenges posture, strength, control, and balance like no other Pilates apparatus. In this 15-hour immersive training, you’ll learn the full repertoire of essential chair exercises, modifications, and variations to meet the needs of beginner through advanced clients.
Through hands-on practice and guided instruction, you will:
- Explore foundational and intermediate Stability Chair exercises
- Learn biomechanical principles for safe and effective movement
- Understand how to adapt exercises for special populations and varying fitness levels
- Refine cueing, teaching methodology, and progressions
- Develop skills to integrate the chair into one-on-one and group programming

Certification
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Dima-Lates Academy of Movement Certificate of Completion in Pilates Chair Training. This course counts toward Continuing Education Credits and contributes to the comprehensive Dima-Lates Teacher Training pathway.

- Learn the full essential and intermediate repertoire for the Cadillac / Trapeze Table

Mat & Reformer Pilates Teacher Training – April 2026

Our Mat & Reformer Teacher Training blends both contemporary and classical Pilates methodologies, offering a comprehensive pathway to becoming a confident and skilled instructor. This in-person intensive is designed for aspiring instructors, fitness professionals, and dedicated students who want to deepen their knowledge and teaching practice.

This course is a unique opportunity for dedicated clients to grow their skills and join the next generation of Pilates professionals. Graduates of this program will not only earn a Pilates certification, but also have the opportunity to apprentice at Dima-Lates and potentially grow with us as part of our expanding team. Whether You’re exploring a new career path or simply want to take your Pilates practice to the next level, this program is a beautiful step toward your personal and professional growth.

- 20 practice teaching hours & 20 observation hours

Certification
Upon successful completion of the course and exam, participants will earn their Level One Mat & Reformer Certification.

- Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays | 1:00–6:00 PM
- Tuition: $4,500 + HST
- Exam Fee: $250 (covers written + practical exam) not included in your tuition.

- Registration Opens: October 6th, 2025 at 1:00 PM
- Attendance: This is an in-person intensive training. Attendance is required at all scheduled sessions.
If a session is missed, makeup options are available through private review sessions or additional observation/teaching hours.

Let’s Get You Enrolled
Dima-Lates Instructor Training Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that life happens and plans can change. Please read our cancellation and refund policy carefully before committing to the Dima-Lates Instructor Training Program:
1. Cooling-Off Period (14 Days After Registration)
In accordance with Ontario’s Consumer Protection Act, students may cancel their registration within 14 calendar days of signing up for the course and receive a full refund, provided no course materials have been accessed and no classes have been attended.
2. Cancellations After the 14-Day Period
If a student cancels after the 14-day period, the following applies:
- No refunds will be issued.
- Students may request to defer their enrollment to a future training session within 12 months, subject to availability.
- A $150 administrative fee may apply for rescheduling.
3. Course Withdrawal After Starting
Once the course has begun, refunds are not available. However, in exceptional cases (such as a medical emergency), students may apply in writing for a one-time course deferment with documentation. Approval is at the discretion of Dima-Lates management.
4. Non-Transferable
Enrollment is non-transferable. Students cannot transfer their spot to another person.
5. Course Cancellation by Dima-Lates
If the course is cancelled by Dima-Lates for any reason, all registered students will be offered a full refund or the option to defer to the next available training session.
6. Attendance & Makeup Options
This is an intensive in-person training with a strong emphasis on hands-on learning, so consistent attendance is key. That said, if you must miss a session due to illness or emergencies, we can arrange one-on-one makeup hours at an additional hourly rate. Virtual options are not part of the main program, but in rare cases, I can record certain theory segments for review.
